U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded $137.6 million in net inflows on August 6, extending their positive streak to four consecutive trading sessions as BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust dominated fresh demand.

BlackRock’s IBIT attracted $128.3 million during the session, accounting for most of the industry’s net inflow. Fidelity’s FBTC added $11.2 million, Bitwise’s BITB gained $1.7 million and Morgan Stanley’s MSBT brought in $14.9 million.

VanEck’s HODL partially offset those additions with $32.8 million in net redemptions, while Grayscale’s GBTC and Bitcoin Mini Trust added $7.5 million and $6.8 million, respectively.

Bitcoin ETFs Add $763.6 Million In Four Days

The August 6 result brought total net inflows since August 3 to $763.6 million, based on Farside Investors’ daily fund data.

Bitcoin ETFs attracted $170.1 million on August 3, followed by $211.5 million on August 4 and $244.4 million on August 5 before Thursday’s $137.6 million addition.

IBIT supplied $606.8 million across those four sessions, representing almost 80% of the combined net inflows. BlackRock’s fund has posted positive flows every day during the current run.

The streak follows a seven-session Bitcoin ETF inflow run between July 14 and July 22, when regulated products absorbed roughly $981 million as Bitcoin recovered toward the mid-$60,000 range.

Bitcoin traded around $64,500 during August 6, leaving ETF demand positive despite continued price volatility rather than a sustained breakout.

Ethereum ETFs Add Another $92.1 Million

U.S. spot Ether ETFs simultaneously attracted $92.1 million on August 6.

BlackRock again provided most of the demand, with ETHA taking in $81.1 million. Fidelity’s FETH added $2 million, Bitwise’s ETHW gained $1.4 million, while Grayscale’s Mini Ethereum Trust and ETHE added $4.5 million and $3.1 million.

The positive session followed $53.1 million of Ether ETF inflows on August 4 and $60.8 million on August 5. The products had opened the week with an $11.9 million net outflow on August 3.

Bitcoin and Ether funds previously returned to simultaneous inflows with $239.4 million on July 14, beginning another period of stronger regulated crypto demand.

IBIT Again Dominates Bitcoin Fund Flows

IBIT’s $128.3 million addition stands out against a period in which BlackRock’s fund has repeatedly driven both sides of Bitcoin ETF flows. The fund previously added $66.4 million while the wider ETF market recorded net redemptions in June.

The latest inflow should be treated as net creations into IBIT rather than a discretionary Bitcoin purchase by BlackRock itself. ETF creations, redemptions and custody settlement determine changes in the trust’s Bitcoin exposure, while BlackRock operates the product for shareholders.

Farside’s August 6 table closed with $137.6 million in total Bitcoin ETF inflows and $92.1 million across the U.S. spot Ether ETF group.
